"This home is stunning, the views are breathtaking and the silence and solitude is vast. In mid-June with temps mid-70's we found once opened up, it was very pleasant with fans circulating the air. Great well appointed kitchen but do plan to bring your own basics (coffee, oil, etc) but plenty of cooking instruments, plates, utensils (but only two butter knives). Memory foam beds were basic but comfy queens. Hot tub was wonderful. The stars at night can't be beat. As a rental property there are some things that can be improved and some that have to be expected. It's in an area that has a lot of bugs. Flying bugs, crawling bugs, slithering bugs. If bugs bug ya then this might not be the place for you! You are 30 minutes from a town that has basics but not luxuries so plan accordingly. Once booked we had zero contact with property manager despite messaging him/her the day before the trip. While the listing says bring blankets, there are plenty of towels and sheets, and spare blankets and pillows in the closets. Check in instructions were solid and easy. Oh, lastly, we were highly allergic to something in the air or in the house - both my husband and myself were congested and pretty miserable with sneezing and stuffy noses the whole time. Not the area as we've been here before and not had any issues. Just, bring allergy meds!"
