"Truly beautiful house in an amazing setting. Felt nice and remote but easy and quick access to local amenities in Kinneuchar and Elie. Property decorated and furnished to perfection with a great outdoor space.Great communication from the host who was always prompt to reply.My constructive feedback would perhaps be some more comfortable outdoor furniture for lounging. "What can I say about the carnoustie hotel and spa. One of the best stays we've ever had, great value for money and the spa is brilliant. All this is helped by the setting along the beach and world class golf course. There's easy links north and southwards from the train station, which is a 7 minute walk from the hotel. We're booked back for November, can't wait."

"We selected this accommodation due to it being the cheapest at the time. Well it was fantastic, the communication from booking to checking in was amazing especially as we needed a very late check in (2am) The room itself was great, clean and well equipped. The staff serviced the room each day and refilled the tea and milk which was brilliant. Beda were comfortable and the shower excellent. The swimming pool is lovely and the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. We didn't eat in the restaurant but I'm sure we'll be back and we will next time."

"North Berwick being a golfers paradise for Scottish Links golf was amazing. Accent that with an amazingly striking and gorgeous hotel set of the Golf Digest # 11 course in the world just makes it that much better. From the moment we first walked in taking the breathtaking main room, to the stunning bar area. The rooms are old world classic feeling. The sunsets and sunrises from our course and water facing room literally could not be beat and the ability to walk through the back gate straight onto the course and out to the beach was perfect. The only criticism I can offer, for such an over the top experience both hotel and golf wise, the bathrooms and cleanliness could use some work. The bathrooms are dated (and not in a good way) and without going into full detail was not the cleanest by a pretty good margin. That being said, staff from the minute I called to the moment that we left went above and beyond. Amazing and memorable stay and trip to say the least. Thank you Marine hotel for helping put the wife's 40th celebration over the top."

"Good small hotel. Our family stayed here for the second time; the staff is friendly and attentive. The swimming pool is nice. Now it has a better breakfast and good coffee. The bed is the best size, and the bedding is great because there are 4 pillows. Thank you for a wonderful time. "

"We stayed at the Hotel Indigo for just one night but the staff at reception were extremely helpful with their recommendations for bars and restaurants and the bar staff made us some delicious cocktails. The room itself was spacious and well maintained. The hotel is in a great location with M&S just over the road. We would definitely stay again."
