The Space:
‘ON THE BEACH GETAWAY‘ is our property’s name which reflects its fabulous beachside location and perfect family getaway.
Beautiful Modern Coastal 3 bedroom apartment looking out onto the beach and ocean.
Overlooking one of Port Stephens' safest ocean beaches, this luxurious 3 bedroom apartment is the perfect place to getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Surrounded by national park, white sand beaches and stunning natural attractions, this is a vacationer's dream.
It is just 30 metres to the sand and rock pools from your front door. Families with young kids love it here because of the safe waters and easy amble back to get sandwiches or another bottle of water.
Aircon, linen supplied, BBQ & 2 car garage.
The apartment is tailor-made for holidaying families, couples or a bunch of friends away together. There are three queen bedrooms, an ensuite and a main bathroom, Plasma TV, DVD/VCR and CD player, climate control air-conditioning and security parking for two cars in the garage. All linen is supplied, wi-fi is included and tea and coffee on arrival.
From the lounge and deck, you look straight down to the beach below, which is an ideal vantage point for firing up the barbecue and uncorking a bottle of sparkles. Grab the morning newspaper and a pot of tea or the coffee plunger before settling down on the balcony to the sound of breaking waves. You can serve leisurely dinners in the full kitchen or use the balcony barbecue to grill the freshest catch of the day.
Watch the whales in season from the balcony and from the many great viewing points around Boat Harbour. Dolphin spotting is excellent in Port Stephens' beautiful bays. The gently and protected beach at Boat harbour is great for kids. Be sure to pack your snorkel as the rocky coves and pools provide excellent diving opportunities. And of course the name says it all - Boat Harbour is the place to set sail, drop a line and reel in a nice, long relaxing break.
If you want surf action, One Mile Beach is just next door. A must see is the stunning Birubi Beach especially at sunset and for the more adventurous try sand sliding, camel riding and 4 wheel driving on the Stockton sand dunes.
Nelson Bay is just a 10 minute drive away for shopping, restaurants, cafes, and the Marina.
Neighbourhood:
• Boat Harbour is just a magic part of the world. Quiet hidden jewel. Friendly. Serene. The perfect place to unwind and forget about the world.
• Known by the locals as a great fishing spot, picnic area and whale watching in season.
• Walk to Kingsley beach and One Mile Beach through the national park.
• Just a few kilometres to Anna Bay shops and Birubi Beach and Stockton Sand dunes. Salamander Bay shopping centre is just a 7 minute drive away. Nelson Bay is the main shopping hub and Marina of Port Stephens, just a 10 minute drive.
• Tennis courts can be hired on Blanch Street, just up the road from the apartment.
• Take a picnic or have a BBQ in the park directly below the apartment.

• Check in is from 3.00 pm and check out is by 10.00 am.
• Air conditioned, linen supplied, BBQ & two car garage.
• Mobile reception in Boat Harbour is limited and depends on coverage by your service provider (Telstra tends to be the best coverage).

• If you’d like a mid-stay clean and fresh linen during your stay, please ask and I can arrange this for you. For stays of 28 nights or more, a clean and linen change is required every 14 days so the property stays fresh, comfortable and well cared for. Additional charges apply.
IMPORTANT
Before you arrive you will be asked to:
1. Complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.
2. Choose between a refundable deposit of $500 (plus admin fee $15) or a non-refundable damage waiver of $50.
3. Sign our rental agreement
Guest Access:
The home features a smart lock for easy self check-in. Simply use the keypad on the front door to enter with your unique code. A backup lockbox with a spare key is also available near the entrance if needed.

Boat Harbour is a peaceful coastal suburb known for its natural beauty and relaxed lifestyle. Surrounded by pristine beaches, bushland reserves, and scenic coastal walks, it’s a favorite spot for swimming, surfing, snorkeling, and whale watching in season. The area has a quiet, family-friendly feel, with local parks and lookouts perfect for enjoying the outdoors. While tranquil and tucked away, it’s only a short drive to Anna Bay and Nelson Bay, where you’ll find shops, cafes, restaurants, and a variety of activities from dolphin cruises to exploring Tomaree National Park.
Getting Around:
From Unit 2/4 Ocean Parade, you’re perfectly positioned to enjoy the best of Boat Harbour. Boat Harbour Beach is just a short stroll, while One Mile Beach is only a 3-minute drive. Anna Bay Village is 5 minutes away for shops, cafes, and essentials, and Nelson Bay is about 12 minutes away with a wider selection of dining, shopping, and activities. Popular nearby spots include Tomaree National Park for coastal walks, Birubi Beach for camel rides and 4WD sand dune adventures (8 minutes), and Gan Gan Lookout (10 minutes) for stunning panoramic views. Whale and dolphin watching cruises also depart regularly from Nelson Bay Marina.
