"The rooms were outdated. Some fixtures didn’t work like the shower head. There was a smaller shower head attached to a bigger one, the big one sprayed water everywhere so we opt to use the small one during our stay. The interior could use some renovations. "La Isleta is a beautiful property with lots of charm. It will transport you to a true paradise place. The rooms are very spacious, clean, and nicely kept. The property is water front, just steps from the beach. Dominique, the host, is super friendly and helpful. He kindly allowed us to delay our check out so could deal with an unexpected situation. The restaurant next to the property serves great food! All around a great place and I’d be happy to stay there again on my next trip to Las Galeras. "

"This is a real beach get away, there is not so much around but that adds to the tranquility of the area. If you need to just get away from the crowds and enjoy the coast this is a wonderful place. The jungle apartment also was incredible, we would spend an hour just watching the wildlife on the tree that runs through the building. Of course being in the jungle environment means jungle animals so be warned there will be some big looking spiders. "
