Restaurant was randomly closed on Tuesday night, as was others in the area so ended up having to get an Uber Eats which they would not let us eat in the bar. A very charming old building set in beautiful grounds. It seems popular with locals who enjoy to eat there and some stay for longer than just the meal. Stayed here for Rampage festival and it’s close enough to walk to the shuttle bus stop. The staff is wonderful and helped me schedule taxi service back from the festival late at night when the shuttles stopped running and Uber service was nonexistent. I would not have been able to stay for many of the late night sets I wanted to see without their help. Taxi from the festival is around 45-50 EUR. The breakfast is good too.
