"This facility was a pleasant surprise. The hotel I typically stay at in Santa Rosa was “sold out” (OK, so my usual pre planning means making a reservation on the day of checkin, was less that perfect), so I spotted Motel 6 in RP was available and reviews were much better than other Motel 6’s that I’ve checked on, so that was my new decision. Checkin was flawless, though to get my ground floor room I had to wait a half hour or so, for it to be prepped. But the Motel 6 location is totally ideal for shopping & dining. So my room was checkin ready after my late lunch. The room was small, but neat & clean. Just me & my small Service dog. So we settled in with an excellent flat screen HD TV we enjoyed a pleasant, quiet and safe Saturday night. Took a dog walk at 9-10 with no sense of safety issues. Slept a comfy night and next morning filled my thermos with complimentary lobby coffee and walked 3-minutes to my favorite eatery, Black Bear Diner, which shares the same parking lot with Motel 6. There’s a Dollar Tree store next door and several fast food restaurants 3-4 min walking distance. So for convenience, this facility just can’t be beat. All of the infrastructure items in the room (AC/Heat, Bathroom, sink with instant Hot Water, etc all worked as they’re supposed to. All of this is why I chose to give Motel 6 in Rohnert Park a Five-Star review. Well done."
