"Week’s holiday with our dog. Cosy little cottage in a lovely little village with plenty of good walks from the door or nearby. Positives included the excellent welcome basket with lots of lovely goodies, kitchen was well supplied and they also provided dog bowls and toys. It was in a good location near the beach. Cafe on the seafront, plus fish & chip shop and Indian nearby. As the hosts state this is only suitable for 2 adults, but it’s comfortable and very clean."

Upstairs there is a private garden, with decking and big table and chairs, and lighting and heater, which was a fantastic surprise. The upstairs garden has great privacy, and feels very safe from the general public. Theres also a downstairs outdoor area, with table and chairs, which was nice, though quite a few spiders outside, so we avoided...

"I had a great time at Sandy Shell Cottage. The owner is very kind and communicative. The cottage is very central for Conwy but tucked away on a quiet street. Immaculately cleaned cottage. Well heated in winter. Strong shower. Very large comfortable bed. Lovely welcome items too. I would definitely return. "

Info from host was great with little helpful messages around the house for things like TV, WiFi and heating. Communication with the host was great. From booking through to just before and checking out was amazing down to some milk being left for us on arrival. All lovely touches. Will definitely be back again."

"It is a fantastic old cottage, well done up, in a pretty small village. You have a small co-op shop and a fantastic pub, as well as a 12th century church with one of the oldest living tree in the world. 25 minutes by car from Conway, it is close enough, but away from busy touristic town, with plenty of walks to do around and places to go. Things to consider: if you have an electric car, you need to plan what you do, as there is no charging point in the village. The house has an induction hob...

"We enjoyed our time in Conwy and at the Castle Apartment very much. The facility was clean and stocked with everything we required for our stay of three days. However, the thing we appreciated most about the listing in the end was its location. We were within a short walk of the Castle, the city walls, the waterfront quay, Plas Mawr, the Royal Cambrian Academy and a myriad of restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. Relatively short drives were needed to reach other places of interest to us:...
