Idyllic country retreat, ideal base to explore Cornwall

Set in the heart of the glorious Cornish countryside, Sebright offers tranquility and an ideal base for couples or families to explore Cornwall. This beautiful cottage is one of three nestled in peaceful garden surrounds. It started life as a barn and retains many of its original features. It has a completely open plan and very spacious living room with a wood burner, large sofas, a well equipped kitchen and French doors that lead out to the sun drenched courtyard. The two attractive bedrooms have rustic features which will delight as will the bathroom and ensuite shower-room. We have an EV charging point available by prior arrangement which provides a convenient and cost effective way to charge your electric vehicle. Details available on request.

The cottage is located within half an hour of major attractions including Padstow, Rock, Port Isaac, Tintagel, the Camel Trail, Saints Way, Polzeth Beach, Watergate Bay and the Eden Project.

Beautiful cottage in family farm
We loved our stay at this beautiful cottage. The owners have done a great job restoring this property. It is very well equipped and it has very comfortable beds. The property is a lovely holiday letting to spend few days with the family. A quite place where you can only hear the birds. We have grown up kids but it is perfect for small children who would love the animals in the farm.

Fantastic Country Retreat!
I booked this property on behalf of my parents for an Easter weekend away. Accommodation was spotless, warm and well-equipped. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming as were the furry friends in the barn! Overall, we had a fantastic time and hope to return soon!

Lovely cottage in easy reach of everywhere
Great cottage in a very rural and quiet location. Hosts onsite and ready and willing to help. 100% need a car and be confident driving Cornish lanes (think grass down the middle and good reversing skills!) This is the 2nd time we have stayed and its so convenient for the areas of Cornwall we love and so nice to come home to a warm and comfortable cottage.

A Wonderful week with Friends away
This is the first time we have used Vrbo and I was very pleased to see how easy it was. On this occasion I can say it was exactly as advertised. It was very clean, just as the photos show a beautiful cottage. The owners were on site if needed but left you in peace, just checking all was ok when you arrived. The welcome cream tea was lovely to find waiting on the side. It was nice to see the Donkeys and Goats and even feed them. The cottage was in a good position to visit most attractions about 25 mins from the coast either way. Thank you very much to the hosts Charmion and Charles for a wonderful week and we would defiantly Recommend you try this for your self. We may even revisit.

A fabulous place to stay out in the countryside. We based ourselves here and all villages in Cornwall are a drivable distance. It was perfect for our Port Isaac visit as we are huge Doc Martin fans. Charmion the owner was available 24/7 to answer any questions and make suggestions. She makes the best Scones in England! The house was spotless, very roomy, (bigger than we thought from the photos) and has everything we needed. We would highly recommend staying here.

A Snug in Deepest Cornwall
Away from the crowds in a very rural location but within easy (car) reach of local towns, the accommodation is first rate, spacious and very comfortable. The chorus of owls at night was amazing.

Lovely cottage
We went as a family of 5 and the cottage was spacious, extremely clean and beds were very comfortable. The welcome scones, milk and water was a lovely gesture. I hadn’t realised how rural it was and it took some time to get used to the narrow country lanes. My only criticism is that it would be useful to have a bigger freezer (it’s only a tiny compartment within the fridge), you can’t even fit a pizza in. The kitchen is well equipped but could have done with a few more dinner plates. But it was nice to have washing up liquid, tea towels, bin bags and dishwasher tablets already provided. In all, it’s a really lovely, warm and spacious cottage.

Stayed at Withiel Cottage for 4 nights late July 2021. Very good location excellent for all local Cornish activities. Everything is within 30minutes, both both and south coast. The accomodation is excellent and would recommend.

A lovely property that included everything we required. It was very clean and well presented. It is located in a very quiet and picturesque location but be prepared for a couple of miles of single track lanes if you are not an experienced driver. Minor improvements could include a Smart TV (although well stocked with DVD's) and softer towels. Kids will love the goats and Donkeys.

Beautiful, relaxing holiday.
We had a fabulous stay & highly recommended. The accommodation was just as pictured and perfect for a family. The hosts were lovely and friendly. We had a tiny issue with the dishwasher but they sorted it straight away, nothing was too much trouble. Loved the scones, jam and cream on arrival, perfect after long drive. It was a beautiful, relaxing spot in the middle of Cornwall. Both coasts were easily reached in 15-30 mins. Thank you for a wonderfully relaxing holiday. Hope to visit again soon.

Beautiful clean cottage
We have stayed in many places across Cornwall and this is by far the cleanest most beautiful place to stay. I am really particular about cleanliness and I could not fault this even during this pandemic. Charlion keeps the kitchen very well stocked, and when we arrived there was milk and water in the fridge together with a lovely cream tea, fresh roses in the vase and books for my little grandson, all lovely little touches to make it even more homely. We stayed over Halloween and when we arrived home that day there was a little back of sweets for my two grandsons. Charlion and Charles are very welcoming and helpful, I look forward to staying again

Great accommodation and location for exploring Cornwall
Sebreeze cottage was great - light, airy and spacious. Fully equipped with everything you could need. Log burner was great for cozy nights in. The location is 10 minutes from Wadebridge and the A30 so excellent for getting around Cornwall.

Great cottage in a lovely location
Beautiful cottage in a very quiet location Lovely family kitchen dining area which we made full use of. Very good standard of appliances and kitchen utensils. Bedrooms and both bathrooms are of a very high standard. Thank you for lovely home made scones a lovely welcome. Very useful information of things to do in the area , myself and my husband had some lovely early morning walks while our teenage sons got up and ready. Would definitely recommend this cottage .
