All beautiful original windows so no double glazing. They rattle if it’s windy! Our room got very hot even with the radiator turned off due to the old water pipes. We opened the windows and issue was largely solved. The views over Menai Strait were spectacular. The restaurant is excellent and well worth making a reservation. "The hotel is a grand building , however our room was small, dated and old fashioned . Extremely tiny bath and a shower with a curtain!! We went for a drink at the bar however, after waiting a while still no bar tender so left . The breakfast was a little chaotic as the hot plate was broken but when it arrived it was tasty and plentiful . There are lots of guests with multiple dogs so if you aren’t a dog lover this hotel is not for you . "
