Not all rooms have en-suite, however we were fortunate to get one. This should be made a little clearer when booking. "Le Clos de Villeroy is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Our room was spacious and stylishly furnished as were the other common rooms in the hotel. An excellent breakfast was included. The lady who looked after us at check-in was very friendly and helpful. She gave us an excellent recommendation for a restaurant fir dinner. Certainly one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in!"

"This is a very nice old house with just 4 bedrooms. Although I was late arriving, the owners were very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was somewhat limited but this is not uncommon in French hotels. Room was a good size with a very comfortable bed. Modern bathroom fittings. Good WiFi. The hotel is fairly close to Versailles and close to the RER station to get to Paris or Rpoissy airport. "

The bad experience is summed up in the quality of communication and rooms. We booked our room on the hotel website and although we were of local taxes, we we surprised at check-in that a refundable security deposit is a standard requirement!
