"View from the ‘Elephant room’ is stunning and the furnishings are as pictured in the photos- beautiful. Breakfast is fantastic and the hotel manager was one of the most welcoming and helpful we’ve ever experienced. The location is a bit distant from restaurants and commercial areas, but that contributes to its peaceful charm."

"The place was good value and in a great location. It would suit people who are daytime people. Knysna is a daytime place. It shuts early as there's alitbto do during the day. Host was nice. Had a brilliant night's sleep"

"The location can't be beat. The trail along the bluff makes for the best morning and evening strolls, as it overlooks the beaches below. The unit was great, clean and quiet. The bed-linen and silverware can be replaced, as it has reached the end-of-life. The Brento-on-sea location is a very peaceful location along this coastline, and the views are beyond special. "
