"Well located; friendly staff"

"This was 3 days free-time between an 11-day Globus bus tour from Vienna to Lucerne and a 7-day Avalon River cruise from Basil to Amsterdam. We’re so glad we decided to include Zurich and the Locke Am Platz into our plans. Our 3 night stay was excellent. The breakfast was good but lacked choices, our only (minor) complaint. Front staff helped us with every question including coming up with a universal plug that worked (I’d left mine behind at the previous hotel in Lucerne), and a convenient way for us to do our much-needed laundry. We are very appreciative of those 2 things in particular. Zurich was my favourite city of our trip. Loved both the lake and Old Town. We had wonderful meals in Old Town and everything was easy walking from the hotel. "

"Was in the VERY walkable part of OLD Zurich. Lots of restaurants and shops. No cars I the old er section. Near the river with touring boat and #15 tram. Hotel has nice rooms and a bonus "family" room with TV, library and coffee and tea maker. Loved this hotel!"
