"Fabulous hotel, service and location for the airport and very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only one slight negative - if you can call it that - is the cost of breakfast at £21 and one nights parking (discounted) at £19, which I think is a tad expensive, but perhaps that's just me. "

"This is my idea of the perfect hotel. It was beautiful, had so much character and life. The bar and restaurant area seemed to always have something going on and was a fun place to hang out. The room areas were nice and quiet. We barely saw or heard another guest even though it was booked. Staff were always cleaning and everyone was so nice and helpful. Our trip to Manchester was fabulous and staying in this hotel was the best part of a wonderful vacation. "

"Friendly and helpful staff plus a great staircase and chandelier. Room a little tired but very adequate for the price. Good breakfast although the sausages were a bit wrinkled. Overall very good."

"Excellent standard of family room, very spacious, clean and comfortable. Quick check in with a friendly staff member. Staff were brilliant when we had to evacuate the hotel late at night due to a suspected gas leak and a note of apology was posted under the door overnight with another apology from reception when we checked out. The hotel is in a great spot with parking right behind, also very close to Manchester Piccadilly station. Would definitely stay here again. "
