"A nice hotel, but I was disappointed with my last day. I stayed for 5 nights and asked for a late checkout on the final day, only to be told checkout latest was 11am and every hour after would be a charge of £30. This seems a little extortionate and as a frequent traveller and user of this hotel many time before, a little user unfriendly. I understand they have to clean the rooms and make ready for other people, but surely there is a more customer friendly way of dealing with this. "

"I enjoyed my stay. The spa area was very nicely decorated and luxurious. Highly recommend walking the ‘Trim Trail’ around the golf course if the weather is good. I think one more towel in the bathroom would be ideal because women often want to wrap their hair in a towel when they wash it. "

It would benefit from continuous housekeeping assessment & maintenance in the bedroom areas though - our room was a lovely very large, front facing one but the bathroom sink plug mechanism was broken & part of one of the curtains was hanging off the rail. Little things matter! Whilst there they also seemed to be having a lot of trouble with their card key system. Two...

"Amazing locations and great hotel. Generally clean and well maintained throughout. In the room, pillows were flat (they were huge and the filling didn't stay put) and the room a bit too warm. Restaurant staff not particularly attentive. Breakfast was good."
