"Room was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s a pretty good location too, only 10 minute walk to city centre. Check in and checkout was very straightforward and there’s maps available at the front desk of the city centre and surrounding areas, staff at front desk explain very well how to get to places. Would stay again on my next trip to York :)"

"Lovely hotel, comfortable, clean, nice food, friendly staff, cool records to play, free sweets n chocolate.. Marvellous!"

"Very good stay at this hotel great location to York Centre everything within easy walking distance. Very good breakfast with plenty of options for £12 a day and on site parking for £10 a day plus good wifi . They are gradually refurbishing the rooms so some minor attention needed to repairs and bit more attention to cleaning and be full 5 stars. That said I would still stay here as it is now due to its location and excellent staff the small issues mentioned would not spoil your stay."

"Been to Clementines several times and would not stay anywhere else. Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend"

"Excellent stay"

"Decent place to stay, just a little more care on the upkeep of the rooms wouldn’t go a miss."

"Easy check in with clear instructions for entry and parking. Lovely breakfast, hot and cold options. Clean room with a lovely hot shower. Great location for visiting York. Would happily book again."

"2nd time this year we have stopped here, the beds are super comfy, the rooms are clean, slightly old fashioned but in-keeping with the whole pub, a proper pub I may add. The staff are fantastic and cant do enough, the breakfast quality & service are amazing, I have been in 5 star hotels and have a food that is no where near the quality of this. On top of this there is free parking, which a massive plus in York as parking is very expensive and usually miles away from the hotel John"

"Lovely staff and really close to city centre while still being on a quiet street"

"Very comfy spacious room, good amenities and welcoming staff. Excellent location for our visit, very close to the venue for our event. Was a bit shocked at the high cost of parking. Would consider staying again if in York, but would maybe come by train."

"Friendly owner, good communication. Comfortable and clean. Property is convenient for the minster and restaurants/bars. Good value for money in a pricey city"

"The property is very central and has easy access to the city centre. The room was spacious but the pub is quite loud at night and you could hear the music until past midnight. You were just given a key and shown where the room was and that was it. The room only had a bath and I wasn’t aware of that"

"The staff were lovely and the amenities were very comfortable. Location of the property is great."

"👍"

"Great location (less than 10 minutes from the train station and old town centre). The hosts were kind and overall it was a sufficiently pleasant experience."

"Great location and great hotel. Luxurious feel and staff were super friendly and helpful"
