Simply put, we found it an excellent, convenient and high quality hotel near the centre. We particularly liked that breakfast and internet are included. We cant be bothered with other hotels that charge extra, particularly for useful internet. We will always try this hotel first when visiting York again.

Clean and comfortable room, decent breakfast, reception staff very helpful. It was possible to switch off heating / air conditioning . Easy walking distance in to town centre. No restaurant meals, just snacks Dirty front steps give a poor first impression.

We stayed for two nights and our room was half cleaned, only the bathroom. The bed was really soft and lumpy. But the location was excellent.
