"There was a bit of a mix up with payment and the owner took care of everything with kindness and courtesy. We needed to leave early due to illness and they continued to be courteous.
We will definitely be going back and staying at the Brookside. "
"The property was in great condition. The staff were always busy cleaning and making the grounds neat. The room was clean and plenty of space. The only thing our room didn't have was a place to hang our clothes. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Access to the public transportation was easily accessible. The steep hill was the only difficulty, but they have golf carts to transport you to your cabin if needed so it was no problem for us. They also had lots of things for young children to...
"We love Amber Lantern! Tom is an amazing host and kind and available. The property is clean and neat and offers anything you can need: for grilling, firepit, swimming at the pool, ping pong, volleyball, you name it. We also can walk to the stables next door to take a trail ride. We always want to book the following year before we even leave. We stayed 7 nights. See you next summer Tom!"
"They are a restaurant downstairs that you can go to, but there are no complementary breakfast or coffee. You have pay that out of your pocket. Which was kind of disappointing because we did pay a lot. But other than that the place is clean and such a nice area. I went with my friends and there was a connecting door and it was perfect for us to pass through. So if you’re a group of friends going to LG I would recommend. "
"Place was so convenient. The manager stopped by our room with 3 cold waters shortly after arrival which was really appreciated. We used both the indoor and outdoor pools and while we stayed in a pet friendly 2 queen room, there was no evidence of odor of other dogs. Room was a nice size. Overall I think great value. "
