"The view of the lake and proximity to town were great. The room was acceptable. The room was clean, but you could see the age of the rooms even though they have tried hard to update and make them look nice. The property was very family friendly and beach area was very clean and nice. The staff was very helpful, as we had an issue with our television and they took care of it right away. We would stay here again when coming back to Lake George"

"Although only stayed for a night it was nice. Staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Enjoyed the pool before check with great scenery. Breakfast was excellent. I had an omelette and it was delicious. The proximity to Lake George Village is walking distance so you can park and not move your car."

"The rooms are clean and well maintained. It has a rustic vibe that works well in the mountains. The area by the lake is very nice and they have plenty of grills to use. The staff was helpful and genuinely nice. For a small property they made great use of the space. We loved making candles and that is free! You can't beat the price point here."

"Great hotel in the heart of the town of Lake George. Walkable to restaurants and entertainment for families and couples. Beautiful view from the roof is a huge win. We saw families bringing take-away food up to the roof to enjoy the view, seating options, and calm vibes. Hotel room was generously-sized, clean, and comfortable. We will definitely be back!"

"I was uncertain about booking a small motel that I had never heard of but The Admiral was perfect for my needs. It was quiet, clean and very close to the center part of town. It is a basic motel with a courteous staff, daily housekeeping and a clean pool. Its rate was very affordable and its proximity to restaurants, bars and beaches was excellent."

"I was comped to a lovely cottage! The cottage was perfect for on person. My room was very clean and bed was quite comfortable. I liked parking my car next to the cottage. Swim towels were available in the office which was definitely a perk! The outdoor pool was clean with plenty of seating. The one cup coffee maker was lovely and contained all needs."

"I would not hesitate to stay here again. Our unit in the motel section was convenient to the picnic area/pool/playground. During times of the day it was noisy as the pool is enclosed and the noise of the children playing is amplified. The beds were a softer than we have at home, but still comfortable. The bathroom vanity and toilet are low to the ground, good for kids or shorter people, but I'm taller (and older) so it was a bit awkward. Our only other complaint is that the room has a pod coffee maker, but there were only 1 sugar, 1 pink sweetener, and 1 little creamer in the packet so it was awful. Next time we'll bring our own creamer."
