"gite qui a besoin d'une rénovation intérieure comme extérieure: salles de bain déficientes( le vintage a du bon s'il est en bon état ! fuite eau dans une),volets en très mauvais état impossibles à fermer, une fenêtre avec un seul volet! Deuxième étage très chaud, des WC seraient souhaitables au 2nd .manque de transats pour l'extérieur et de parasols."

There are plenty of interesting places to visit nearby including some very beautiful Romanesque churches and a remarkable Gallo-Roman site near Talmont. "Cadre agréable, calme, vacances reposantes, piscine raffraichissante. Propriétaires accueillants et discrets. Seul bémol, la location ne comporte pas deux chambres comme écrit dans l'annonce. Les couchages enfants sont dans l'espace salle à manger/cuisine et le couchage pour les adultes se trouve dans une pièce attenante séparée d'une cloison seulement au 3/4. Même si nous avons maqué d'intimité, nous avons passé un séjour agréable."

"We had a wonderful stay in Montignac-Charente. The apartment is a short walk to the town center and we enjoyed stopping in at the patisserie and the cafe. A full grocery store is a short drive away. Our dogs also loved long walks along the country roads beside fields filled with sunflowers. Our host met us when we arrived, kindly showed us how everything worked, and even gifted us some apple preserves that tasted fabulous on our morning croissants. There was more than enough room for the 4 of us...

"We had a great week and this house, it’s a fantastic property well equipped for 3 families with 7 children all under the age of 13. The terrace and pool area were perfect for long, lazy lunches in the sunshine. We had a slight issue with the freezer that was dealt very promptly by the helpful and friendly owners. Would definitely recommend this as a place for friends and family for a get together."
