We went for a couple of great walks up the disused quarry, just up the road. Once at the top of this walk there are fantastic views of the valley. "We had a great time at this property. The five properties gave us space to be together and still have our own space to retreat to when needed. It was a very wet weekend in Wales but we made the most of it. The Pool and Grove cottages and The Gallery were a bit tricky to keep warm as you needed to keep the log burners going and use electric heaters upstairs. "Lovely spot; and as I stayed at the accommodation all day it was lovely to watch the animals and the changing skies over the sea. I did lots of drawing! The accommodation is very well equipped. The drive up the hill is a little hairy - glad we were in a robust vehicle! Barmouth is a small seaside town with lots of independent shops and cafes."
