"Happy with our stay at the Celtic International. Staff were all friendly and welcoming. Small bar/restaurant which was quiet. Rooms varied, all clean but with a severe lack of plug sockets - 2 in the whole room and 1 was for the TV, none next to the beds so hard charging phones. Views were nice at the back though. There was a little common room with a pool table which we spent a good while in. We ordered some picky food bits and the garlic bread with cheese was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was 10/10 - food was delicious and the bacon was definitely locally sourced thick welsh bacon. Very impressed. Would definitley stay again if passing through Barry - 10 mins by car to Barry Island but had a real countryside feel. "
