"Basic motel style but no twin rooms, the price at the place was 600baht for a single and 1200 for a double so we asked to change to 2 singles, which caused mayhem and we kept being put on the phone to someone who spoke English but still said we’d have to pay extra, eventually the lady took us to a suitable room but no top sheets and the bedcover was filthy. "Shockingly good stay from A to Z, top to bottom, and beginning to end. Very very good staff, room was clean and well appointed. A/C worked, almost too well. All facilities were in great shape and well kept up. Breakfast buffet was strong, good coffee shop next door and very good casual restaurant a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Really liked the style/decor of the hotel, guess one would call it 60s/70s resort chic - kept expecting Don Draper from Mad Men to come walking through the lobby. All of the above, and the price was extremely reasonable. Will return, definitely."

Didn’t like the frame around the bed as it stuck out like 15-20 cm because very easy to hit it with a leg during the night if go to toilet. Also remote to AC would’ve been nice because the AC was way to loud during the next and if we turned it of it got so hot. Pool was nice. And gym was good too. "

"We had the best time at the Doowall this week. It’s quiet and serene at the hotel and it’s only a short distance from the White Temple. Coming back in at night and seeing the temple sparkle in the dark is a truly magical moment, especially when in a Tuk Tuk. The food was incredible, I will think about that yellow curry with crispy mushrooms for the rest of my life. The staff was so helpful and kind. I cannot thank them enough for making such a magical experience. The only downside is I only booked three nights and had to leave far sooner than I would have liked. It does get a bit chilly in late November so bring a sweater! "
