"Hello I wanted to leave this review because I have never felt so welcome and appreciated as I did during my stay. I met up with my sister and her daughter to check out Iowa university and picked this hotel because it ticked borax of #hot tub, then pool and then breakfast. We ended up not using the breakfast because my sister is gluten free and dairy sensitive and has a nut allergy and she didn’t want to just eat eggs. I found the first morning breakfast delish and love having a fresh waffle (I don’t eat these often) but the coffee was perfect! We did choose not to have room service but have towels swapped out because 3 ladies in a room is just too much! The parking felt safe and well lit during the night. The pancake place next door is open in the mornings. I had dinner at the Mexican restaurant up the street-again delish! The staff here were so helpful and the pool and hot tub were spot on what we needed after a long day that this will be the place I choose when visiting my niece as she continues her schooling. If you have never been to Ames- go! It’s probably one of the nicest places I have visited because the people are so genuinely nice! "

"Its an older smaller place but the rooms are Very clean and comfortable and the staff/owners are very friendly! I had to move my college freshman home and it was also graduation at ISU so Ames was super expensive and this was conveniently close to campus and much less cost! Would happily stay again when i head back on parents weekend in the fall"
