"This is a lovely hotel right on the river. We were in a room on the top floor with a small balcony, which had a great view. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good. We found the beds to be a bit soft, but thats a personal preference thing. Parking is available along the river for 4euro a day and you get a ticket that allows free travel on the trains and buses locally for the duration of your stay."

"The location and staff are amazing. The facilities are nice. The breakfast is delicious...as is all the food in the restaurant. The rooms are sizable, but don't have central air - so your relying on the wonderful air from outside to freshen things or cool the room (in the summer that can be tough). The bathrooms could use some re-design, but what they lack in beauty they make up for in function."

"Overall, a great experience. The staff were all wonderful, and helped/suffered an English-heavy traveller like me. Boppard is a nice small town with welcoming people and some great restaurants. The breakfast at garni Günther was a decent buffet spread. Same thing every morning, but the amount of options available was commendable. "Fantastic location, what a lovely town. The host was lovely and very friendly. The place is old but what does one expect in an old town. Yes there are stairs, but not an inconvenience. Yes it's right next to railway, but didn't bother me. There are window shutters you can close (, a previous review complained about the bright room🤔). Iverall I enjoyed my stay,safe,secure,clean,spacious room and bed was comfy. What more can one ask?"
