"My friend and I stayed at Residence Contrin on a hiking trip to the dolomites. The small kitchen was just enough with everything we needed to make breakfast or a simple dinner. The apartment was clean, and laundry on the property was very handy. The location was great, a short walk into town with plenty of bars, restaurants, and shops. Would definitely stay again. "

"While the staff was great and very accommodating, don’t let them place you in a Mountain View room. As most places in Italy, they don’t have air conditioning. So that means you have to keep your windows/doors wide open when it’s hot out. The Mountain View rooms sit right above a very busy street and you will be awakened all through the night to road noise. "

"This was our second time at the Legació and it won't be the last. The place is beautiful, well located for hikes and biking, visiting lakes, and just having fun in the Dolomites. "We enjoyed the location of the room with a view of the mountains and the slopes. What was so disappointing was that we were only there for 2 days/one night. When we went to check in (right at check-in time) they said the room was not ready yet and to come back in 20 minutes. Came back in 25 minutes and they state the room still isn't ready and it will be at least another hour. We asked if there was anyway to switch us to a different room because we were only staying one night and they said...

"loved the location, up a slight hill with great views. parking on prop. quiet and away from traffic noise, but walk to shopping and restaurants... great large aptmt. MBR had a balcony, very nice bath w. bidet, living room w. pull out couch/ queen w. another terrace dining table and small but good ktichen.. want to go back adns tay at least 5 days, great central lcoation for many hikes and lakes."

"l'edificio all'interno sembra non aver avuto cambiamenti dagli anni '80, ivi comprese le camere, salvo per il bagno che è stato ristrutturato...male...visto che la doccia è quanto di più scomodo e pericoloso io abbia mai visto. Hanno trasformato una vasca a due livelli in doccia appoggiando una specie di supporto in legno su cui devi stare in equilibrio circense e che sembra potersi rompere da un momento all'altro."

"Absolutely super property with a lovely host, Cinzia, adjacent to you. The village has a great pizza restaurant and the bar at the play park is very hospitable. Easy drive up to Cortina and the mountains and climbing that we came for. A definite 5 star recommendation!"
