"We stayed at the Beatrix for a week in July 2015. We wanted a base to explore Garda whilst being able to walk into Bardolino in the evenings. The apartment was on the 2nd floor with a balcony off each room. "This property is pretty but a bit far away from the main areas and tourist attracts. Night time is very quiet with no one around. It is perfect if you want to be able to walk to the touristy areas in the day and return back to quiet at night. "This is such a great place to stay!! Yes it seems old but well taken care of. We had a canal view room with a balcony, it was a winner!! The room was spacious and clean. Staff were helpful with the luggage. Breakfast wasnt too bad either, could be a bit better but still great. Had good variety but quality was a bit low. AC in the room could use a repair, at some points it wasnt cold. Wifi was great. Location was very convienent, right next to the train station which meant we didnt carry any luggage upany stairs. We walked everywhere from that location, lots to see."
