This was the perfect overnight stop for our family of 5. The room was ideal with two separate sleeping spaces. I’ve based everything 5star on the basis of the price paid £107 for 1 night for a family of 5. It was very easy to get to and parking was perfect as we have a trailer. We visited Bordeaux for the evening and it was very easy to navigate and we really enjoyed all the city has to offer. The city was buzzing. A great city to visit with young children. Aged 9,10,13.

Hair on bed but otherwise clean. Some small items in disrepair. Very nice staff who recommended a great new restaurant within walking distance.
Lovely relaxed hotel with friendly english-speaking staff. Perfect location for an overnight stop when travelling between Spain and the UK. Nicely decorated rooms, clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. Ideal for our needs.
Great place to stay if you are planning on getting around Bordeaux by bike or biking along the Garrone. It's a bit outside if town but very accessible. The staff were very nice. Restaurant was closed for dinner when we arrived but breakfast was excellent.
I am definitely going to return to the hotel whenever i am Bordeaux France again. The only flaws I see is the limited varieties of breakfast. The staff are very welcoming especially the tall black guy I met on my arrival and couple days afterwards. He speaks English and he has good customer service.

Friendly staff(although they state the speak English not all staff does except a bit of Frenglish :)
Safe parking+ charging(rates differ in relation to where booked and period, check in advance. Your own charging pass is not accepted). Part is an old building with charm although the renovations do not maintain the charm. The new part is being renovated with low quality materials so my guess is that by 2030 it has to be redone.
Roller shutters keep the sun out(hotel should keep them shut before guests arrive in stead of putting AC on 20•C when it’s 40•C outside if they are really “green”) so it’s cool and dark, super!
Sound insulation is basic so you hear neighbours in the bathroom at night.
Breakfast is basic(French) without warm vegetables eg. When you go rather late most is finished and not restocked.
The pool looks amazing and swimming is allowed also after checking out. BUT: the gate is broken, the foot disinfecting bath is empty and there is no shower so all guests go in the pool with sweaty/sunscreen bodies and wear shoes next to the pool. Disgusting.
So with some minor adaptations this hotel would earn a star extra from me
Good room and good breakfast. The lady at the reception was very helpful, but being alone at reception + bar + restaurant she had to manage too many things and there might be delays, I was sorry for her. There is not a real "restaurant" but they warm up ready dishes, anyway it was ok. I gave only 3 stars to sustainability because they still use one-way small shampoo bottles instead of refillable wall containers. The shampoo was good anyway.
I stayed at Green Hôtels Bordeaux Arena for one night and had a pleasant experience overall. The staff were very nice and welcoming, which made check-in smooth and friendly. My room was clean, spacious, and comfortable — exactly what I needed after a long day.
One minor downside was the shower, which didn’t get hot straight away. It took over five minutes of running before it warmed up properly. As I was only there for a short stay, it wasn’t worth making a fuss about, but something to be aware of if you’re in a rush.
The location was lovely — quiet and peaceful, yet only a short drive into the city, which made it a convenient base. All in all, a good stay with just a small room for improvement.
