Easy to get to lots off parking , staff very helpful , room was good size clean and presentable Breakfast was excellent, 2min walk to tram line for easy way into centre , wouldn't have a problem staying again, good value for money

Short Overnight Stay

Clean room and excellent value for money. Hotel is a bit dated and could do with some refurbishment. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Nice secure car park.

I really love this hotel. It is part of the Contact chain of hotels. The room was nice, clean and spacious. The public tram is only a few minutes from the hotel. Parking is easy and free. There is no laundry facility in this room, though Expedia lists it as one of the amenities. There is a laundromat in the shopping mall close by. Overall, La Provencale is great value for the money.

Although attendants were very nice, the room was not great. Beds and linen were clean and good, but shower was beat up, outpour hanging wrong and even black mulch on its cealing

This is about 20 minutes drive from the centre of Bordeaux. It’s next to the convention centre and the Stade. The lake is nice, good place to walk. Was quiet. The breakfast room is nice and well set up, and was perfect for breakfast buffet. (no hot food). Not fancy but good place to sleep, take breakfast before doing tourist things. The third bed was not as comfortable as the beds with the cushion top. Not sure why the hotel has those hard third beds. We changed rooms but the second room had the same hard extra bed. Would suggest they fix that, otherwise was perfectly fine.

Good place to stay near the convention centre

The area is really only good if you want to be near the convention centre. There's a bunch of hotels out this way that presumably exist solely for the convention centre. The area is not picturesque by any means. Having said that - if you want to be in this area, this is a good little hotel. Not luxurious but the rooms are comfortable. it's nice and quiet and dark at night if you close the blinds. I slept well here, despite my room being near the kitchen. If you're a light sleeper like me then I can recommend it. The staff are extremely helpful. Everyone I spoke to spoke English (some really well, others just enough). Only complaint is there is no fridge in the hotel room.

problème d'odeur nauséabonde dans la chambre

Une odeur nauséabonde et persistante se répandait dans la chambre venant de la salle des bains, due manifestement à une réparation de toilettes et des travaux non terminés avec la mise en location. Sans compter le bruit produit par la climatisation. Deux cadeaux alimentaires pour s'excuser. Mais la mauvaise impression reste.
