Viejas Casino & Willows Hotel

"I really had a wonderful experience staying at viejas hotel & casino. I was a little disappointed with the lack of employees when we pulled in and parked. I didn't see any luggage carts available for anywhere to take a load our bags up on so we had to carry them all the way to the hotel entrance and then up to our room. VI really love the beautiful king sized bed in our room! I'd really love to find out what brand of mattress I need to find out what I couldn't believe how comfortable this bed really was! We checked in and took the elevator up to the room just to quickly drop off our luggage and we planned to freshen up and then &.head down to the casino to play the slot machines. I made a rookie mistake & laid down on our big kind sized bed. I had to see how comfortable this bed was and I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing it actually felt. I screamed for my husband hurry up, get in here! I said you gotta try this bed out with me! It feels like a dream He literally was passed out cold within 2 min! I couldn't wake him for a couple hours."

"Older but good hotel. No breakfast available. The only issue I had was with the water — the cold tap never provided cold water; it was always warm."
Tucker Peak Lodge

"This lodge is in a beautiful location with expansive views of the mountains around Julian, CA. The room was large with a pleasant bathroom with skylight. There is air conditioning in every guest room. The large living room has a TV (so do the rooms) as well as a billiard table. The kitchen was spacious and the hosts provided eggs, bread, milk, bananas, and ramen soup bowls for the guests. The lodge is small with only a few rooms so it is quiet and allows each guest to interact with the others as they wish. I would definitely stay here again."

"Fun theme hotel. Staff was so friendly and amazing pool and amenities especially considering it was 110 degrees outside. Also, super dog friendly."
