"The property was in walking distance to a couple nice bars and restaranuts and pizza places. Sitting area in back of motel with fire pits to look over the water. Also the property has a bar and grill attached which was awesome. Noise does not travel into the hotel. The free breakfast had a very large selection of items from hot food to your cold cereal, fruit, muffins, etc... great all around. Oh and the rooms were oh so clean and comfy."

"What a nice hotel. Was very clean, modern, quiet and good breakfast with large seating area. The bed was comfortable and the desk and chair were good for work. All in all was a good stay and I'll be staying here when needed in the future. "

I will not reinvent the wheel by repeating words from our former visit reviews, but I will say that for anyone who loves staying in a well furnished (historical) home with super comfy beds and a well equipped kitchen -- while still being able to bring your four legged friend and still get away from it all -- this is your place.It is certainly our ShangriLa, and we love that Phyllis provides access to such a wonderful dog-friendly home to get away from it all!!"
