"Comfortable room"

"I hate to give a bad review, but I have to. Our unit was sparsely outfitted. There were no furnishings for your cloths. Hangers on the walls for your clothes and used bath towels would be an improvement. The biggest problem was the bed! The sheet was dirty, the kind of dirt you do not want to see. Under the sheet was even worse. Bad. The housing approaching the lodge is challenged. Depressing in some instances. It smells on some days. Some days there is trash floating in the water. These are things to owners cannot control. Panama should be better than this!! It is a nice place. The people are nice. Getting a taxi is no problem. I do not know how people give it a 10. "

"Kitchen was sparse. No coffee maker only espresso machine. We enjoyed our stay. Slept great. Papaya restaurant nearby was our favorite. Staff in Merlin restaurant below the hotel was always friendly and greeted us with a wave and smile but never came over to take our order so on three different occasions we got up and went somewhere else. Is there a cultural thing we’re missing here ?"

"Casita del Mar was nothing short of spectacular. This house was absolutely stunning and everything we were looking for. It's only accessible by boat but once you book the house Julia's crew helps you ever step of the way getting to and from and enjoying all the local spots. She has made this vacation for us so enjoyable and seamless. The house is located away from Bocas del toro and so quiet and calm. The reef in front of the house is out of this world with starfish everywhere and the coral is the most amazing colors of blue, purple, green and yellow. Captain Jose, Katrin and Erika are all so amazing and made this vacation so memorable for my family. We highly recommend this place if you are a nature enthusiast then this is exactly what you are looking for. She provides all the water toys such as kayaks, paddleboards, boogie boards for Red Frog Beach, snorkel gear, beach towels, etc. Wash and dryer are also provided and well maintained. Kitchen has all the supplies. You just need to get need to stock up on groceries since there is not a store nearby. Beds were extremely comfortable. We are looking forward to renting again in the near future! "

"TV remote half worked, no sports on any TV. Towels and wash cloths was a struggle almost everyday. Overall pretty nice place and staff was great."

"Villa Reef was absolutely amazing. They definitely care about their guests and it shows in all the touches in the villa. There is everything you could think of in the kitchen, the rooms were lovely but best of all was the location and view. We could snorkel, paddle board and kayak right off the dock. Amir, the concierge was amazing at helping out with whatever questions we had and arranged the 15 minute water taxis to and from town. I would absolutely recommend this property to anyone. Absolutely wonderful stay! "
