The room was small and cramped, nothing worked because the Ipad controlled all functions. I had to crawl over my wife to get in and out of bed. It was too much money to pay for the room with no amenities.

Amazing hotel and it felt very European. The views were amazing as well as the lobby and staff. I highly recommend this hotel and it’s within walking distance to most places although the entrance to the T was closed when I was there but amazing nonetheless!

A very new hotel but not to be underestimated. Location within back bay is excellent. Rooms are slightly on the small side and if you can overlook the slightly odd room arrangement- this is a fun hotel full of quirks as would be expected from citizen M.

Recently opened when I stayed (Sept 2024). Rooms are appointed well but not generous by size but they don’t hide this. The shower is fantastic, good lighting and window treatments to allow you to decide your preferences. Everything is controlled by an iPad or the app which when you want to make choices on the tv is a little too much. Housekeeping options are excellent. Probably better for single occupancy as the beds are sideways on so if two were in the room is would be pretty tight on space and one would have to climb over the other getting in and out of bed.

Very modern, liked the ipad control in the room, perfect for couple nights stay in Boston, we walked everywhere, lots of dinner options close by, lovely communal area with relaxing music for sitting, reading book, workspace. Staff very friendly, will keep bags once checked out.
