Super friendly cafe staff. Front desk staff were hit or miss—some great, some will ignore you 100% while staring at their phone. Unpleasant: the trash can next to the lobby coffee would get increasingly full over the course of the day & into the evening, to the point where guests were stacking rubbish in piles adjacent to the can. This is in full view of the front desk & elevators, and nobody addressed it. Baffling. Worse: after dark, lost guests at the front desk, meant to return to the Canopy by Hilton, not the Curio by Hilton. Front desk worker shrugs and tells them to google it. It's owned by the same company and is like 5 blocks away. I helped them get there, for heaven's sake.

Only one small trash can in our room. Trash was overflowing. The front of the hotel was fine but you could only fit one or two cars to load and unload your stuff. There were snowbanks between the sidewalk and street that made it hard to load and unload if you weren't directly in front of the hotel. No one from the hotel shoveled paths to make it easier. Overall the room was nice and the staff was helpful and pleasant. Not much of a bar and restaurant.

Yesterday when we arrived at the hotel we checked in around 4 and were given our key to room 909, when we were taking the elevator there was an awful noisy alarm going off, we continued in the elevator and to our room to the strobes going off for the fire alarm, we exited and went back to the elevator where we were met by a maintenance worker who said it was a malfunction but they were unable to stop it, we returned to our room to get ready for our event with strobing lights in our hotel room the whole time
