Our family loved staying at the College Club of Boston. The location is perfect and the older nature of the building and rooms was something our family enjoyed. However, I have only given 4 stars for the condition of the hotel and amenities given that this hotel definitely feels old-and that may not appeal to everyone.
A truly charming and meaningful stay.
The building carries a sense of history and grace, and the atmosphere encourages calm living—reading, thinking, and simply being present. I appreciated how peaceful it felt even in the heart of the city.
For anyone seeking a refined and quiet Boston experience, this place is a gem.

The location was ideal. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly.
Parking is close by and not very expensive. The B&B is in a beautiful area that's convenient to everything. Pictures are accurate, the place is beautiful.
Warm welcome and lovely large room with great shower. Loved the cookies and fruit along with hot drinks available at any time. Very generous in these days of having to pay extra for breakfast. Property is full of historic charm. Highly recommended and a decent price.
The room was clean and quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly—they anticipated my needs and were quick and willing to do their best to help me feel at home. An excellent experience overall!
Very cozy establishment in a classic Back Bay townhouse. Nice (nothing fancy) rooms & lovely staff.. Fabulous location on Commonwealth Avenue a block away from the Public Gardens.
I absolutely loved it! I stayed for 3 nights and it was a perfect location, next to the parks and everything you need is right there. The building itself is so lovely and cozy, the room is great. I appreciated the little details that made the stay comfortable!
A quaint place in one of the best parts of Boston. It was nearby to public transportation. The rooms were nice and well kept and the staff was very accommodating. Coffee, fruit, and cookies were available around the clock.
At the beginning, I booked only 1 night here, however after I lived here, I couldn’t help keeping booking one night more and more, Even sharing bathroom, couldn’t bother me too much about that, And I had been kept Stayed at Room 301(Sturfs) for all my stay here, which is a Small but Warm room with romantic view of Commonwealth Eve in the snow, and a small white shelf with a Lot Of Wonderful Books.
Breakfast are Healthy, Coffee and Tea are nice and supplied in 24 hours.
If there is not a well-managing & nice employer, and without good, loyal & professional employees themselves, Mr. Rigo couldn’t won the 41 Years Service Rewards here in the College Club Of Boston.
All furnitures are classic and aritistic, especially the Big portrait of a Pure Girl, and a huge painting of Garden in the Meeting and Music Hall.
Good and quiet for leisure, reading and writing, good sleep , healthy breakfast.
