Beautiful Rocky Mountain Retreat Above Boulder with Privacy & Views
10/10 Excellent
"From the moment we pulled into the driveway we knew we had booked the right home for our mountain getaway vacation! This area is beautiful and this home was spectacular. We had the best time here. Very clean and all the amenities we had hoped for. Stunning views of the night stars from the open upper crows nest! After a long days hike at RMNP we enjoyed the whirlpool tub in the master bathroom. The patio was awesome as well, we had mule deer right in the backyard most mornings. Kitchen was fully equipped and we made use of the grill a few nights as well. We were about 10 minutes from Nederland, 30 minutes from Boulder and roughly 55 minutes from RMNP using the Peak to Peak highway. You will not be sorry staying here. Pieter and Charlotte were amazing hosts and quickly responded to the few questions we did have. All five in our group had an amazing vacation and it all started with this amazing home! In my own opinion it felt like a nicer mountain home then I deserved to stay in. From here on out this will be our vacation home each time we're in the area. "
Dream Canyon A Mountain Paradise Retreat STR# 21-0013

"I visited this location with my (now) husband to privately exchange vows just the two of us. The views were breathtaking, we often found ourselves spending time just sitting outside or staring out the window. The house was extremely inviting with everything you could need available in the pantries. I will say the driveway was intimidating, we don’t have dirt roads or steep hills in Maryland but with four wheel drive and caution we got the hang of it and felt comfortable. This place will always be a cherished memory for us!"
"We needed a place that would be appropriate for our large family, coming from 3 states, with grandkids ranging from 1 1/2 to 18 years old. This house was perfect. The upper deck is large and safe. We played many board games out there. There is a wonderful creek or stream that the middle aged kids loved. We all went on the acres of trails with mines to peek in. Our CrossFit trainers separated and connected with the public trails they followed from maps on their phones. The road up and down from Boulder is beautiful. We saw a moose on our way down! We went down one day, almost to Boulder, and pulled over to play in the river. We hiked in the river which was another very fun thing to do. We also saw a mule deer while hiking and a bear on the trail while on the deck! The house has everything you could possibly need. Plenty of bedding, including lots of pillows with varying degrees of filling. The soaps are natural plus included extra toothpaste and toothbrushes just in case you've forgotten something. The kitchen is stocked with everything including a wide range of spices, oils, utensils, etc.. The dining room table fits at least 14. It's huge. The garage is an amazing indoor playground for adults and kids! A moving climbing wall, ping pong, basketball with electronic scoring, large Jenga, video games. Wifi made it possible to contact the host with any questions and they never acted put out to communicate. I could probably go on and on. You'll have to see first hand!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful retreat in Boulder. Nestled in nature, the property offered the quiet and calm we were hoping for, with Pearl Street being a close drive. Waking up to the sound of birds and fresh mountain air was a dream. Highly recommend for anyone wanting the best of both worlds—serenity and convenience. The host was very accommodating as well. We will definitely be back. "
