We were on a 2-week road trip, and this was BY FAR the best place we stayed. I loved it so much that I'm planning another trip to the area and will only stay here. The place is adorable, literally at the foot of the mountains. It's within walking distance of shopping and hiking trails. The staff was super sweet and helpful. Great location! Nice to take breakfast on the lawn behind the rooms for the fabulous view. Comfortable bed and well appointed room. Communication could have been better about hours of breakfast and offerings, there was conflicting information on line as to breakfast start time which got us behind schedule on the first day. Second day understood the process and no problems encountered with check out. Thanks!

This is a historic hotel from 1934. The rooms are amazing. The staff treats guests like family and the grounds are great for relaxing after a busy day of hiking.

I loved the foot of the mountain motel! The rooms were quirky but cute! It was just a short walk to hiking access and close to town. The lady at the front desk was very helpful, would definitely stay here again
