"Receptionist was welcoming and friendly, she stepped in when we were ignored by the bartender and were about to leave. The room was spacious and mostly very clean except for a lot of mould at the bottom of the shower screen, also if you have a bath in the room please provide something to put in it, the shower gel was attached to wall making it impossible to get a bubble in the bath. Location was excellent"

"The check-in process; it requires you to access to the internet (WiFi) or strong mobile phone signals in order to activate the digital keys (to open the gate & your room). My phone has very weak signals and unable to open the link to the hotel website for directions/instructions to the digital keys .... To make the matter worse; the hotel only sends you the above inf. at 16:00 on the date of your arrival and no sooner; in my case, by the luck of the draw, they forgot to send it to me on time. ...

"We were upgraded to a beautiful room with a dressing area and large bathroom. The beds was comfortable and the location peaceful. The grounds are well maintained and there was quite a large swimming pool with sunbeds. We didn't have any meals at the chateau but the dining room looked cosy and inviting. The staff are pleasant and helpful. If we travel down this way again, we will definitely stay at Les Muids. It's a stunning place."
