WKU, Beechbend & BG Visitors- This Suite Retreat is For YOU!

This is a recently renovated home on the edge of the beautiful WKU Campus. This fun, open concept space has one bedroom, one bathroom and a living room that is open to the kitchen. It's the perfect size for one - two people. If you are visiting BG or WKU, and want to experience campus life first hand, this is the place for you! This location is just Steps from the WKU basketball arena, football arena, baseball field and all the amazing events on campus. Parking is provided so you can enjoy your stay and not worry about fighting the infamous WKU traffic during events. This cozy cottage is located about 5 minutes from downtown BG and the local downtown parks, nightlife and great restaurants in that amazing area, a 5 minute walk to the Kentucky Museum located on campus, 10 minutes from Lost River Cave, the Corvette Museum, Beech Bend Amusement Park and Raceway and 5-10 minutes from all of the amazing restaurants that Bowling Green has to offer. We are less than 10 minutes from the parkway and I-65 so if you would like to take a quick trip to Mammoth Cave or Nashville, Tennessee’s “Music City", you can just hop on the interstate and off you go!
A few facts about the apartment: It is located about 300 feet from WKU and you simply need to cross the railroad tracks and you are on campus. You can easily walk to WKU Football ,Basketball and Baseball games in minutes. The train that runs along the edge of the University also runs very close to the apartment so you often hear it. This apartment is across the street from the Registry Apartments which houses WKU students so the atmosphere is very bustling, busy and during WKU games- loud, lively and energetic! For any WKU events, it is recommended that you simply walk, as parking can be tough on campus and the house is centrally located so you can walk anywhere on campus pretty quickly.
The house is fully equipped and has the following amenities:
KITCHEN- Standard size Refrigerator, Microwave, Hot Plate, Toaster Oven, Keurig Coffee Pot with coffee pods, Small Crock Pot, kitchen towels, dish soap and sponge. We also provide paper towels, plastic silverware, cups, plates and coffee mugs for your use. Please note there is NO Stove (there is a hotplate) / No Large Oven, No Dishwasher.
LIVING ROOM- Comfortable Couch and coffee table, Fireplace with Electric fire (just for ambiance- no heat), Smart TV with Hulu, Netflix and Amazon access (but no cable), remote control fan and lighting. Heating / Cooling is maintained at 70 degrees but can be adjusted if needed.
BEDROOM- Queen size comfortable bed with clean bedding, extra pillows, a fleece throw, a remote control ceiling fan and light fixture, closet with hangers provided and another linen closet with toilet paper and bathroom hand towels, wash clothes and bath towels.
BATHROOM- Small but efficient space with a new shower recently added, but please note there is NO TUB, hair dryer is provided along with small travel size shampoos, conditioners, soaps, lotions and body wash for your convenience. As noted above, the towels, wash clothes and hand towels are also provided and located in the bedroom linen closet. PETS-We don’t generally allow pets but message me if you would like to discuss.
PARKING- There is a large, well lit parking area behind the home for your convenience with an automatic light /camera that oversees the parking area. There is also a back door, which allows easy access from the parking lot, via a small pathway and it has a keypad lock for easy access.
HOUSE RULES- This house is part of a duplex which has an Audiology Practice located on the other side and is usually open and sees patients Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 6pm so we appreciate that if you are at the home during business hours that you keep the noise level to a minimum.
We do not permit parties at the home & due to the size of the house, no more than 2 people are permitted to stay.
