We stayed at the raccoon den just one night before our early flight out the following morning. Elinor had great communication and the place was centrally located to downtown. I did notify Elinor to let her know that the floors had not been mopped by her cleaning staff, that was the only disappointment of the place. I did stay there with my husband and our two young kids so it was a little tight. It’s perfect for two adults.
This property was clean, quiet, and yet close to everything! The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The entry and exit, as well as the parking location, were all very secure. Would definitely stay here again.
Condo is quiet, clean and well appointed. Excellent location to walk around Bozeman or head to the mountains for hiking. Condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed.
my husband and i had a wonderful stay at the raccoon den. it's close to downtown and close to the university - so convenient! the outdoor patio was our favorite afternoon spot to sit and relax. we'd definitely stay here again :)
The Raccoon Den was perfect! Had everything we needed! Easy to access using latch app. It is walking distance to downtown Bozeman. Was our first time in Montana and the Raccoon Den made us feel at home. Enjoyed the very spacious patio too. Would def stay again!!
The condo is close to downtown, clean & comfortable for 2 people. It’s an easy walk to shops & restaurants so you don’t have to search for parking on Main Street. The security & garage parking is a bonus. I would stay here again on my next visit to Bozeman.
I love the location of this building for walking to downtown shops and restaurants. The kitchen is well stocked and the whole place very clean. The theme decor is adorable- try to count the raccoons! And the patio is very nice during good weather. Highly recommended.
We had a very comfortable stay in the Raccoon Den. Quiet and spacious. We mistakenly left an envelope with $300 cash and the housekeeper immediately called the host to contact us. We had no idea we had left it but it was back in our account within the hour. Amazing! Will stay here again for sure!
Comfortable, cosy and clean. Perfectly positioned for downtown Bozeman (what a lovely, pretty town!) and also very quiet and secure. We loved everything about it!
Great stay, great location, and we’ll appointed space. Easy communication with owners, check in was a breeze. Will definitely consider staying here again.
Flew in from Seattle to attend our daughters graduation from MSU. All communication prior to were fantastic, instructions and direction were clear and the accomodations were first rate. Great experiece all around!
Terrific second floor unit with outside deck/patio. Better yet is the location. As advertised, this property is within walking distance of virtually everything. Downtown, the University, Burke Park all within walking distance. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and utensils which is great for us because we like cooking in. Highly recommend this unit for two people when in Bozeman.
We’ve stayed in Bozeman many times and this property was perfect for two. Close to downtown, nice patio, friendly host. We will definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
We had a fantastic stay in Bozeman! The location was incredibly convenient—just a short walk to downtown, which made exploring the shops, restaurants, and local charm super easy. The place itself was beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the rooftop bar at the Armory Hotel, thanks to our host’s great suggestion—stunning views and a fun atmosphere. On top of it all, we discovered an unexpected family connection between my husband and our host—they’re both descendants of Mayflower passengers! Such a small world. We’d absolutely stay here again!
Great weekend for the Cat/Griz game. Beautiful complex, and kind neighbors. We would seek the owners out again to stay at one of their properties if the opportunity arises. They were responsive and accommodating.
Being a local, the raccoon den was a great place to experience our home from a different vantage point.
It had all the necessary amenities needed with a quaint and private patio. Great indoor parking and walking distance to any place downtown. My wife and I enjoyed being able to have a place to go and unwind after all of our wedding festivies.
We would highly recommend to others and stay at again.
Thank you!

Liked: Communication, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
I really hate leaving a bad review and we never have before actually, but unfortunately, highly disappointed. Overall basically not clean, even after we paid a significant cleaning deposit. Above that, they asked us to do housekeeping upon leaving. While the vibe and cozy element was there, the lack of cleanliness was a deal breaker for such a "high end" stay. Specifics include: Toilet bowl had poop streaks, bath rugs out of square, towels looked like they had been used and simply re-hung, crumbs on the floors, coffee stain and what looked like makeup stain on counter. The tissues box was empty with a toilet paper roll on top of the tissue box.Simply put, the personal touch that we have always enjoyed with VRBO stays over the years, was not there with this rental.
