"Check-in was seamless and the house was very clean and well stocked. The location was good and close to a marina/gas station/restaurant. The screened in porch facing the lake was great for the evenings. The house worked out well for our group and everyone had a good time. Overall a great find on Lake Gaston that’s pet friendly."

"A beautiful home, with multiple sleeping spaces and recreational fun!The bunk room is in an open area, only a factor of your guests are young. Some of the appliances did not work but we were able to work around it. Overall a nice home with very responsive hosts"

"We had a great time at the Executive Mansion with our family of 24 people. The house was very spacious and the amenities were great. Having a pool was a definite plus and it got a lot of use. The kitchen had just about everything we could need and made meal prep very easy. We rented the boat and went fishing almost every day. We caught more fish on this trip than any other vacations we have been on, and we didn’t even have to travel that far from the house.We had a few minor issues, but the home owner was very responsive in addressing them. When you spend as much as we did on a vacation property you expect everything to be perfect. However, it’s a rental property, so it’s going to show some signs of wear and tear. Did any of these issues detract from our overall experience? Not really, so I’m not going to dive into the specifics. Would we go back? Our group likes to try different places each time, but if we were to go back to Lake Gaston, the Executive Mansion would definitely be on the list."

"The house worked out perfect for our family of 4 and our dog. Plenty of room inside and outside. The dock was able to accommodate a boat and two jet skis without a problem. Kristy was very communicative and was able to work with us when we extended our stay by an additional day. Overall, a great experience."

"Our family had so much fun at this lake house! The dock and lakefront are amazing. The kids had the best time jumping off the top deck of the dock, playing on the giant lily pad, and sunbathing on the trampoline. We brought our speed boat and it was very easy to dock. Driving the boat under the bridge from the marina is a bit tight but it’s nice having a place to get gas so close. The cove in front of the house is perfect for water skiing and tubing. The screened in porch was great for eating and playing games. We enjoyed having fires in the fire pit every night too. We tried to bring sheets so we didn’t have to wake up early to wash everything but there’s actually 2 king size beds instead of all queen beds. Just something to note if you’re planning to bring sheets."

"Very well stocked large home. The game rooms were perfect for lots of evening fun. The kitchen was full of more supplies than you could possibly need. We spent our days floating and boating. Kids loved jumping off the second story dock. Place was very clean. Master bathroom has a great double shower head. Plenty of family room and kitchen seating. We would definitely stay here again. Lots of amazing memories made! Only downside is having to fit your boat through the tight tunnel to get to the big lake."
