"We had such an awesome family vacation! We were able to go fishing everyday, along with paddle boarding, and a night time campfire each night. The house was clean and perfect for our 4 person family. Andrea was so easy to communicate with and responded in a timely manner to all of my messages. She even left homemade cinnamon rolls for my family that we all absolutely loved! Thank you so much for sharing the house with us and we hope to be able to rent for them again."

"The house was large enough to accommodate my group of six adults and three children. With three levels there are stairs so folks with mobility issues may have problems. The neighborhood and the whole lake gave off a safe, low key, uncrowded, family vibe. Everyone we met on the water or on land gave us a smile or wave. The house is close to the end of one of the creek arms off the main lake. There is a two-person canoe with paddles, a one-person kayak without a paddle and a two-person paddle boat...

"Over all great place if I was at a hotel I would’ve had to cart my own trash away for as much as we paid a cleaning fee was added for what ?we did all the cleaning as instructed by owner the house needs a few up grades the toilets was so low like in the 60’s spider webs in the corner in living room difficulty locating garbage bags outdoor furniture un useable needs cleaning prior to guests arrival yet mentioned in advertisement of home amenities"

"My fiance, now wife, rented Calm Water Encounters at Lake Gaston for our wedding weekend. We had family stay in this house and we stayed in the other house on the property. This was perfect and allowed us to have a little escape from family and friends. The family that stayed in this house had a great time and had plenty of room to spread out. They loved taking out the paddle boards and canoe and hanging out at the dock."

"Our family of four stayed for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend 2024 The unit was great and well fitted out. It’s currently in a quiet area of Lake Gaston so didn’t feel commercial which was nice. We enjoyed the complimentary kayak and water mat (despite the oars being missing). The games room was a great way to unwind after fun days on the lake. Would recommend the stay to others."

"My old friend group from school all got together for a time to reconnect here this past weekend. And this house was amazing! They had everything, and all of it was super clean. The owners are great, and made sure we were taken care of. They have everything you could think of! Paddle boards, kayaks, pool table, ping pong, rain shower head, etc. This place was great! Will be looking forward to our next trip here!"

"It was very nice place but need to get rid of ants , the back porch was full of big black ants . they were in my car when we left . Other then that the stay was GREAT !!"

"The house has all of the amenities you need to stay in touch if you want but also the beautiful outdoors to distract you and allow you to escape from reality and just enjoy the lake. Floats, kayaks, towels, grill, fire pit, wifi, it was all amazing! We had a few hiccups when we got there but Emily and Tucker jumped right on it and we were fixed in no time!"
