"My husband and I met our daughter with her 3 girls at this home. We came up from TN and she drove down from IN. The space in the home was excellent. The living room was large and we didn’t feel overcrowded at all. Same with the kichen- all open with the living room. There was a huge screened in porch with two large fans that we really enjoyed. And there was a very large outdoor deck that had seating for 8 for dining outside. The host provided: toiletries (not the starter kind in hotels, but full size containers in each bathroom, including hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel), toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher soap, kitchen sink dish detergent, all the towels needed for bathrooms (including makeup towels!), beach towels for the lake, and kitchen towels. All paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins) were aplenty. The coffee maker had both drip and k cup. There was a high chair, step stool, pack n play too. The hosts have thought of everything. The only disappointment for us was we couldn’t use the lake—there was so much algae on top of the water and excess growth like lily pads and grasses. Of course, this is pretty typical for lakes and nothing that could be prevented. Our granddaughters did enjoy seeing all the fish and a very large turtle. One thing to note: the hosts are very clear about the final road to the home. It’s dirt and crushed stone and very bumpy. We had 4 wheel drive cars, and we did just fine."
