"The property is in a great location with easy access by public transport from the airport. The staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent and the free bottled water a bonus. A couple of gripes though the ensuite was very small and needs some TLC the tiles and shower need replacing and the toilet brush was not clean. Also we were only give one key this meant we had stopped stay together all the time. We also managed to lock ourselves out and had to wait nearly 2 hours fro staff to come and let us in. They leave at 3 and come back at 6.30 until 10. Had we stayed out until after 10pm this would have been problem luckily we went back at around 5pm. It would be good to have 2 keys or a contingency plan in place for these situations."

"The room was clean and comfortable and convenient to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed being right on the promenade - right across the street from the Bee Gees statue! Parking on the promenade was a bit hit or miss. It's free from 6 pm to 10 am. We did have to park in a pay lot one night that cost £10. The only temporary problem was that it was noisy in the morning due to the construction of a building next door and work in the hotel's pub that was below us."

"It was very good value. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and wasn't "in your face" I thought the bedroom was good for its' size. The shower pressure was powerful and the room was warm. I didn't use the body/hair gel as I normally bring my own. HQ Bar is a very lovely reasonable priced stay "

"The lift was not working, but staff carried heavy bags to the room. No kettle or drink making facilities in the room. Beds were comfortable and roombwas warm and clean."
