"House is in an unusual neighborhood and was very difficult to find because hand-drawn maps were hard to understand and were in French. Owners are absentee landlords living in France and did not communicate on WhatsApp, as I requested. Tried by email, but owner always used French, not my language! No soap, shampoo, napkins, paper towels, condiments, coffee or tea provided. That being said, place was very clean, spacious (could easily handle 6 people) and beautiful, a few km from beautiful beach....

"This villa is fantastic and very modern. It is very spacious and clean and the kitchen is well equiped. There are many activities both indoor and outdoor with the pool, tennis court and football field and indoor with the combined table for pool and table tennis. We all enjoyed these activities very much, especially the teenagers. We also enjoyed the covered terrace very much. It is just a short walk to the beach which is nice with a board walk along the coast line. The villa is within a one hour...

"Eduardo was an amazing host. He kept in contact leading up to our trip and offered directions and suggestions to help us with our travels. The house was amazing and had everything we needed. Our kids were in the pool every day and enjoyed the size of the house and rooms. One of few houses in the area with a pool it was an ideal base for our trips into braga and not too far from the beach in the opposite direction"

"Lovely place to stay on the edge of the National Park. We were here for 3 nights to explore the National Park. It was a lovely place to explore. Didn't use the house much to be honest, as we were out walking all day. The kitchen was well equipped, plenty of cooking equipment and crockery. Shower was nice and warm. Host was lovely, approachable and welcoming. Thank you."

Everything was perfect and the amout of things included with our stay was beyound anything we have seen before. Geraldene met us and explained everthing to us with a grand tour of the property. "The accommodation was in a beautiful tranquil setting. We really felt that we had a relaxing break in Celerico de Basto. Lovely pool and even a little lake to row a boat on much to the delight of the children. The kitchen was a slightly strange set up but we soon got used to cooking on the BBQ . Only down side was the kitchen sink. No hot water and sink was very small in the kitchen area. We had to boil water on hob for washing up. To be honest we got used to it and we managed fine . "We had a lovely time at casa lumi, such a stunning and unspoiled area of Portugal. Our family enjoyed hikes to amazing waterfalls, swims in the river homem, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking and visits to Braga and Guimares. The house itself is perfect for 8 people, spacious and well equipped with a beautiful garden area/pool with gorgeous views. Diane was very helpful and responsive to any queries. "The location was very easy to find with clear instructions, and excellent communication at all times. We even had help from the owner phoning a local restaurant which was a nice touch.
