Perfect stay in Braga. Hotel has a lot of character and is in a fantastic location. Friendly staff, comfortable and clean room, good breakfast. Would recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay at Porta Nova in Braga and would definitely stay there again. Friendly and helpful staff, amazing restaurante, close to many cafes and other restaurants. Easy to walk to others parts of the city.

This is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at, not because it is the fanciest, but because of the staff and the environment that they provide. This hotel feels like a home away from home. Take a few minutes order yourself a drink and sit by fire, and enjoy the relaxing space of this hotel. The restaurant in the hotel offers exceptional dining choice's and the breakfast is very enjoyable as well. I can't say enough good things about how well I was treated while staying at Porta Nova Collection House.

Wonderful! Balcony overlooked the the arch and shops. Bed was comfortable room was clean and charming. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend. And easy walk to train station.

Amazing Hotel

This hotel is new/refurbished which is always a win. The decor is great as is the use of space so despite the fact that it is small it does not feel cramped. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The only consideration is soundproofing. Will definitely stay here again!

Clean and modern. Breakfast was decent. Right in the pedestrian center of the old city, so it's in a great location. There is a bit of noise from street in the evening.

The property is unique as it is based in a 15th century collections house -- very cool! The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The manager Jose is on site and happy to provide whatever information or services you need to enjoy your time in Braga.

This is a unique and well designed hotel. Our room was small, but exceptional in design. The room offered two sides views of the square in front of the hotel—with balconies. Shutters on the inside kept noise out. The bathroom was very nice and the water pressure in the shower was great. The wooden floors were very nice.

Great location to visit Braga Centre and lovely service. Modern and the design is well thought, but very small room and toilet, l kept banging my knee with the rack as a wardrobe, with very narrow space between the bed. We thought is a bit high in price for the room, then, location was very good, 2 minutes walk to all shops, Cathedral, bars, restaurants. Parking off street is payable 9 til 7pm and not included

Lovely hotel & room, modern, bright with very helpful and pleasant staff. Hotel is right in the centre of the old town where everything is in walkable distance. Perfect location. Rooms are very very small, so small that I could only walk sideways to pass my side of the bed. Same for the bathroom and same for the breakfast area. However, the room had all amenities you'd expect for a 3 star hotel and was so lovely and pleasant that it definitely made up for the small size. I would definitely recommend.

Good hotel, small room.

The location of PNCH is fantastic, and the overall vibe of the place is nice. That said, my room (#300) was very small, and the bed was a modified sofa bed. It felt like it was supposed to be the lounge area for room 301 that shared a connecting door that the guests of 301 repeatedly tried to open, LOL. I was traveling solo on this trip, so having access to both sides of the bed wasn’t needed, but would have presented a challenge with another person in the room. The staff was pleasant but not overly accommodating - not fantastic but not terrible. The room was fairly well soundproof so the noise outside was not much of an issue. Overall, if you get a good deal on PNCH, it would be worth a stay, just avoid room #300.
