"We were delighted upon arrival at Mill House, which is presented to a high standard and is well equipped. Everything was brand new - kitchen, kitchen equipment, carpets, bedding, towels. Thoughtful touches such as a range of books for local walks (lakes, hills ridges, coffee shops) and starter kitchen packs for coffee, tea and cleaning. There weren’t any photos of the games room so it was a very nice surprise to have a pool / table tennis table as well as a range of games and books. Location...

"Rose Bank Cottage is cosy and welcoming. We stayed for a week at Easter and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a roast dinner. The back garden was lovely, with stunning views of the fells and the cottage itself is only a short walk to the centre of the village with all its amenities. A lovely place to stay!"

"Our first stay in Millside Cottage but certainly won’t be our last. We usually stay in Keswick but have fallen in love with Braithwaite. The cottage is located perfectly, just a couple doors away from the village shop which is ideal. Straight out the door & on to the fells without any need to drive. And just a short drive from Whinlatter which is ideal for walks & mountain bike rides. We found it to be very clean, comfortable, well equipped with parking big enough for a car and a van. The...
