"This property will be ideal for history and nature lovers. Character and charm are plentiful. There are horses and chickens in the ourside space nearby. The property itself is functionable and comfortable but tired in places. There is a boulangerie about 5mins drive away and it is 10 mins from castlenaudry. The vast aray of ornaments books treasures would not be ideal for curious youngsters but perfect for groups of adults and older children. The hosts were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay. "

"What a wonderful place!! Sam was there to welcome us and with a large, multiage family we were never short of things to do. The movie room kept the teenagers happily gaming away and the pool kept the little ones cool. We enjoyed meals on the patio and a well stocked kitchen with excellent air conditioning in every room. "The gite was clean and bright and really welcoming. It was quite difficult to find but we managed it in the end as Monique (the owner) collected us from a nearby supermarket! It was spacious and good quality furnishings. We found the sofa rather uncomfortable, but fortunately, the bed was comfortable. We were welcomed daily by the very friendly dog, Caramel and 6 chickens plus a noisy rooster. Our main difficulty was that Monique didn’t speak English and we don’t speak French! However, it was our choice and we did manage ok.We can highly recommend the property and there are lots of interesting places to visit that are not too far away.It was a pleasure driving round the wonderful countryside on decent roads with little traffic.
