The couple and their young daughter acquired the house and estate in 2018 to develop it as a vineyard, and a year later they opened four guest rooms. "This looked a convenient location for a rugby game we had come to watch but we found so much more! A perfect welcome from Delphine who made us coffee, gave early access to our room to leave our bags, booked a v early taxi for us for the next day back to the airport and told us to make a dinner reservation at a great restaurant to get a table. Her lovely garden with free roaming chickens is so peaceful in a big city. Our room was spotless and very comfortable."

"My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this bed and breakfast. It was our first experience at a bed and breakfast and the standard has now been set very high! We were welcomed by our hosts who offered and had a drink with us before recommending and booking a traditional French restaurant in town for us. The room was immaculate - styled beautifully and very clean. We slept so well and then were treated to a wonderful and plentiful breakfast. I could not recommend La Maison du Poëlon...

"A great stop for travelers flying in or out! This hotel was a quick stop for a few hours of sleep and a shower before our very early flight from TLS. The room and the bathroom were very clean, modern and spacious, the bed was comfortable. We liked the variety of ready-to-heat meals sold in glass jars that we heated in the microwave (the room had a nice kitchenette) for a late dinner. Parking was full as far as we could tell in the dark. We ended up leaving our rental on the side of the path that leads to the hotel (it may have been a walkway) for our short stay, and it worked out fine."
