"We stayed at Old Posting Inn for 2 nights as wanted to explore the lake District area. We wanted a quiet, quaint village as our base, and the Inn was perfect for our needs. The dinner was excellent and the hosts were lovely. The location itself is15 mins from Cockermouth town centre, 30-40 mins from Kewsick, and 45 mins from Buttermere. All in all, it was a perfect holiday for us, and we will come again!"

"On arrival checking in was made easy by the friendly staff, I was giving all the information needed about my stay and made feel very welcome. The grounds are beautiful and I very much enjoyed taking my outside. The staff were exceptional and made my stay so enjoyable and I will certainly be back."
