"While our stay was ok. Carpet to the room was dirty. Our room door was hard to open and close I notice the breakfast area floors were dirty. They offered to help another party with their luggage but it wasn’t consistent because didn’t offer us any help. While we understand its older building it needs to be maintained better. The breakfast could be better. I was very disappointed and not enough sitting places or big enough tables We were celebrating our 34 year Wedding Anniversary and unfortunately will not be returning"

"It’s a fun well located super clean hotel with great entertainment and proximity to the fun gas lamp and Padres field. Pool is small a somewhat lame - but expected for a rooftop. Our coffee machine was malfunctioning but again… we could have asked for a replacement and that’s on us."

"This hotel was in a great location, just a short walk to see the San Diego skyline. It is a little bit older in decor, but the room was clean and quiet. The staff was always helpful. Breakfast was good with a very nice selection. We would definitely recommend this hotel."

Though, if you want a quiet, restful place to rejuvenate, this is the place as well. The staff, especially Alyssa and Sasha, are friendly, professional and so eager to make your stay extraordinary in every way possible."

"The property was everything I needed and wanted it to be. It was clean, pet-friendly, and close to everything. The backyard is inviting and provided a cool respite from the heat. The room is comfortable and quaint with a lot of the period charm still intact. And while there was no AC, there were several fans provided that kept things cool. The host was very gracious and greeted me warmly upon arrival. We did not run across each other for the rest of my stay but I have no doubt that if I needed anything he would have been available immediately. My son is stationed at Coronado and I would definitely stay here again."
